On February 12, 2004, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Subcommittee on Public Lands and Forests held a hearing on the Ojito Wilderness Act (S. 1649) (New Mexico).
In order to continue to highlight how many people in Vermont are involved and support the protection of ore wilderness in the Green Mountain state, the Vermont Wilderness Association recently launched a statewide ad campaign to add real Vermont residents' voices to the debate.
