  • Washington Mayors Join Effort to Protect Wild Sky Wilderness

  • On March 31, 2004, 65 mayors from around Washington State joined the growing number of local lawmakers and concerned citizens supporting efforts to protect the Wild Sky area as a congressionally designated Wilderness.
     
  • West Virginia Highlands Conservancy Spring Review 2004

  • Following a nearly 40-year-old tradition, the West Virginia Highlands Conservancy will hold their annual Spring Review April 23-25, 2004, in West Virginia’s Canaan Valley.
     
  • BLM Action Center Up and Running

  • The Wilderness Society recently announced the creation of its BLM Action Center based in Denver, CO. The Center will serve as a resource to citizen activists and conservation groups and will help people effectively engage and participate in the processes used by the Bureau of Land Management to determine how our public lands are managed.
