  • Grand Lake Board of Trustees Votes to Support Proposed Rocky Mountain National Park Wilderness

  • Recently, the Grand Lake Board of Trustees voted to support the proposed Rocky Mountain National Park wilderness. Also, the Estes Park Town Council held a public meeting during which they heard unanimous support from local citizens for Wilderness in the National Park.
     
  • Amendment to Limit Road Building in Tongass

  • During consideration of the Interior Appropriations bill on Wednesday, the Senate voted down a bi-partisan amendment that would have limited roadbuilding on Alaska's Tongass National Forest.
     
  • Ojito Wilderness Bill Gains Additional Editorial Support

  • On June 13, 2005, the Albuquerque Journal, New Mexico's largest newspaper, ran an editorial titled, "Congress Should Pass Ojito Wilderness Act."
     
  • Lighthawk Provides Incredible Resource To Wilderness Groups

  • LightHawk is a nonprofit, volunteer pilot-based organization that flies environmental missions in collaboration with a network of more than 130 pilots and hundreds of partner organizations throughout North and Central America.
