Alice Bond has worked to protect the best of the Bureau of Land Management’s lands in California at The Wilderness Society since 2006.
For two years prior, she worked for the National Outdoor Leadership School where she coordinated nationwide recruitment tours to promote wilderness educational programs. Alice has also worked as a consultant to the National Park Service to develop a business plan for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to define core park operations and articulate funding needs.
She earned a master’s degree in environmental management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
She is a triathlete, cyclist, skate skier, and enjoys yoga and quality time her dog, Wally.

Sam Goldman
Sam has been with The Wilderness Society since Fall 2007. He came most recently from M+R Strategic Services in Washington, DC where he worked with national environmental groups to improve their online campaign work and field organizing capacity. Before that, Sam was the Assistant National Field Director for U.S. PIRG where he covered a variety of issues including the fight to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
