Barbara began working in the The Wilderness Society's Denver office in December 2005. She provides administrative support to all the programs and staff located in the Central Rockies Regional Office - and loves the variety of the work she does for the incredibly diverse staff and programs.
She previously worked as Membership Publication Editor and Office Manager for the Colorado Wildlife Federation and, prior to that, worked in a variety of research and analyst positions for consulting firms in Denver and Washington, D.C.
She received an M.B.A. with a Marketing/Market Research emphasis from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and a B.A. in Quantitative Analysis from the University of Virginia.
Barbara spent most of her formative years in northern Virginia, but moved to Colorado for good in 1990, where she loves the casual attitude, the outdoors and the low humidity.
She’s got a great husband and two energetic boys, and in her off time, she reads, surfs the Internet, and serves as the president of the board for a local nonprofit group that serves individuals with developmental disabilities.
