Christopher Lancette joined TWS as Communications Director in 2007 after running his own Atlanta-based PR firm that specialized in serving the nonprofit sector. His portfolio includes forests, wildfire and the National Landscape Conservation System.
Previously, Lancette worked as a journalist for more than a decade before beginning his conservation career with the Trust for Public Land.
He devotes most of his free time to tennis, biking, blogging, studying the American Revolution, and watching the NFL.

Sam Goldman
Sam has been with The Wilderness Society since Fall 2007. He came most recently from M+R Strategic Services in Washington, DC where he worked with national environmental groups to improve their online campaign work and field organizing capacity. Before that, Sam was the Assistant National Field Director for U.S. PIRG where he covered a variety of issues including the fight to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
