Christopher Lancette joined the Wilderness Society as Communications Director in 2007 after running his own Atlanta-based PR firm that specialized in serving the nonprofit sector and departed in 2011. His portfolio included forests, wildfire and conservation issues in the Eastern United States.
Previously, Lancette worked as a journalist for more than a decade before beginning his conservation career with the Trust for Public Land.
He devotes most of his free time to tennis, biking, blogging, studying the American Revolution, and watching the NFL.
