Julie joined The Wilderness Society in December 2008. She works with TWS members and donors throughout the southwest, central Rockies and Midwest to raise money to support our wilderness agenda and protection efforts around the country. Julie also works closely and collaboratively with her fundraising colleagues around the country – in San Fran, Seattle, Bozeman, Washington DC and New Jersey – to engage our donors in the important work of The Wilderness Society.
Prior to coming to TWS, Julie spent over 16 years fundraising in higher education working for The University of Michigan and The University of Colorado. She earned a B.Sc. degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Out of the office Julie can be found running, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing in wild places throughout the west, and chopping wood at her mountain cabin just west of Boulder.
