Margie Linskey joined The Wilderness Society’s Denver office in June 2003. She coordinates the grants and budgeting operations of the BLM Public Lands Campaign operating out of the Denver office, as well as the Recreation Planning Program and Central Rockies programs.
Prior to TWS, she served as Operations Manager for Friends of the Urban Forest, San Francisco’s community tree planting program, and was the Administrative Director for the fundraising arm for Chicago’s Meals on Wheels program. She received her B.A. in Communications from The University of Iowa in 1990.
Margie spent most of her formative years in Chicago, but moved west to San Francisco shortly after college seeking a balance between culture and nature; she has found it again in the mile-high city of Denver. She stays busy with an active young daughter at home, but gets to the high country for skiing, hiking, and taking in the Rocky Mountain air every chance she gets.
