Sam Goldman has been with The Wilderness Society since Fall 2007. He came most recently from M+R Strategic Services in Washington, DC. Before that, Sam worked as a lobbyist and organizer on the campaign to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and is a graduate of Green Corps.
Sam played a key role in the designation of 743,904 acres of wilderness in 2009 and is currently coordinating nearly a dozen wildlands protection campaigns in California. His expertise includes advocacy, organizing, communications, political strategy and volunteer mobilization.
