Tashia Tucker joined The Wilderness Society's E-Communications Team in December 2007.

Experience as a Creative Director for a communications company, along with a Master of Arts Degree in Digital Media Studies from the University of Denver provided her with a background in web and print design and development, audio and video production, writing, and marketing. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Visual Communications from the University of South Dakota.

Having grown up in South Dakota, Tashia enjoys the peace and solitude of outdoor adventures, despite the fact that she's had some unfortunate luck with alpine skiing and rock climbing. Luckily, she's safely found her niche in camping, hiking, biking, and snowshoeing since moving to Colorado in 2004. She's also a fan of yoga and pilates and is often found perched on a balance ball in our Denver office.
