Wildlife photographer and author Dudley Edmondson envisions more diversity in America’s wild places. Author of “The Black and Brown Faces of America’s Wild Places,” Dudley works with local youth groups to encourage more people to experience and enjoy the wild.

In his volunteer work with YMCA and Boys Outdoor Leadership Development (BOLD) Program, Dudley Edmondson leads youth on trips to places like the North Cascades National Park in Washington state. These trips help youth develop critical skills like leadership and confidence and lay the foundation for a life-long relationship with the wild.
