SAWS Volunteers, Outings and Events

Upcoming Events for the Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards

SAWS does trail maintenance and has Wilderness Rangers across Wilderness and Wilderness Study areas in four southern states.

From weekend to week-long outdoor volunteer projects, SAWS provides many opportunities for locals or visitors to the southern Appalachians to get out and give back.

No matter which you choose, you are sure to have an outstanding and rewarding Wilderness experience. Here is what’s coming up:

Wild Crews are weekend based one or two day volunteer crew projects.
BOOT Crews are five day/five night backcountry restoration projects.
