Workplace Giving

Big Sur Cove, California

Making a donation through payroll deduction is one of the easiest and most cost-efficient ways to help protect wilderness.

Giving through payroll deduction allows you to choose how much you want to give and allows you to make that gift in small increments throughout the year.

If your workplace does not have an employee-giving program or does not include environmental groups as an option in its current payroll deduction campaign, we encourage you to find out who handles your workplace campaign, benefits package or personnel issues and let them know that you and other employees want to contribute to environmental causes.

Earthshare

The Wilderness Society is a member of EarthShare, a nationwide network of America's leading non-profit environmental and conservation organizations that are working to promote environmental education and charitable giving through workplace giving campaigns.

Hosting an EarthShare campaign is a simple and effective way for a company and its employees to demonstrate concern for the environment.

Federal Employees and Combined Federal Campaigns

Employees of the federal government, postal service and U.S. military can also protect and preserve the environment by participating in the world's largest workplace giving campaign -- the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). If you are a federal, postal or military employee and would like to give to The Wilderness Society through the CFC, please enter CFC code #10638 on your pledge card during your fund drive.

Corporate Matching Gifts

It's easy to increase your gift to The Wilderness Society through your employer's matching gift program. Simply ask your personnel office if there's a matching gift program. If so, your personnel office will give you a form to send along with your donation. That's double the support for wilderness preservation.
