Bertram Cohn has served on The Wilderness Society governing council since 1996.
Bert recently retired as managing director of First Manhattan Company in New York. He is a member of the board of governors of Tel Aviv University and founder of its Cohn Institute for History and Philosophy of Science. Before joining First Manhattan, Bert was chairman of Schuylkill Lead Corporation, DPF, Inc. and Interstate Bakeries Corp.
Bert graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a BA and received his MBA from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration.
