Heather Kendall-Miller has served on The Wilderness Society governing council since 2003.
Heather is an Alaska native and a senior staff attorney for the Native American Rights Fund in Anchorage, Alaska.
She received her BA in History from the University of Alaska, graduating magna cum laude, and her law degree from Harvard Law School in Massachusetts.
Heather served as judicial clerk for Chief Justice Jay Rabinowitz of the Alaska Supreme Court. Heather also was a Skadden Fellow, during which she worked for the Alaska Legal Services Corporation and the Native American Rights Fund.
She is married and has two daughters and a granddaughter.
