Andrea Imler joined the Pacific Northwest Regional office of The Wilderness Society in November 2007 as Communications Manager. Utilizing seven years of experience in public affairs, event management, marketing and educational outreach, Andrea supports all facets of communication efforts, from media outreach to graphic design, at The Wilderness Society.

She received her B.A. degree in Communications at the University of Washington. Andrea believes in "practicing what you preach" and tries to head out and enjoy Washington's wildlands as often as possible. On any given weekend, you will probably find her hiking, snowshoeing, backpacking or scrambling in the North Cascades. When not climbing up some peak, she's likely road cycling, running or tackling a home improvement project.
