Corinne Abbott joined The Wilderness Society staff in April of 2007 and is currently the Senior Director of Foundation Relations. In this capacity, she is responsible for foundation and corporate fund raising at the national and regional level.

Prior to joining The Wilderness Society, Corinne was the Chief Advancement Officer for the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing where she developed and led a multi-year campaign to raise awareness that children with hearing loss can learn to listen and talk. Earlier in her career, she served as Manager of Disaster Fund Raising for the American Red Cross where she oversaw fund raising for such catastrophic disasters as the 1999 Hurricane Floyd disaster relief effort.

Corinne holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Tufts University and a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University. She resides in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and daughter.
