Max Greenberg joined The Wilderness Society as a digital content producer in October 2013 after about five years of environmental communications work in both traditional and digital settings.
Immediately prior to his time at TWS, Max spent a little over a year on the environment beat at Media Matters for America, a watchdog group. There, he covered everything from polar bears to plug-in hybrids.
Before that, Max did traditional and digital communications work at the National Wildlife Federation for more than three years, drawing on a love of nature that was cemented the first time he (gently) upended a log to see what lived underneath.
Max graduated from the University of Maryland. He is a lifelong native of the Washington, DC area and a suffering fan of some of its most pathetic sports teams.
