Max Greenberg joined The Wilderness Society in October 2013 after about five years of traditional and digital communications work for various non-profit environmental projects.
Before TWS, Max logged a little over a year on the environment beat at Media Matters for America, a watchdog group. There, he covered everything from polar bears to plug-in hybrids. Previously, he spent three years pitching reporters, blogging and doing practically anything else a communications department could need at the National Wildlife Federation.
Max graduated from the University of Maryland. He is a lifelong native of the Washington, DC area and a suffering fan of some of its most pathetic sports teams. He has many unpopular opinions.
