Melissa Koskinen leads event planning for our professional development trainings including Wilderness Week and the Women and Wilderness Conference, writes the Center’s funding proposals and reports, provides organizing, outreach, and fundraising support to wilderness campaigns in Arizona and Pennsylvania, and manages the Center’s operations.

Melissa comes to the Center from the Crested Butte Land Trust where she was responsible for the stewardship of 3,500 acres of protected land, outreach, administration, and fundraising.

Melissa graduated from Arizona's Prescott College with a B.A. in Environmental Studies with an Emphasis on Human Ecology and a minor in Human Development and is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in Education and Human Resource Studies from Colorado State University.
