Mike Quigley is our Arizona Wildlands Campaigns Coordinator. Mike comes to The Wilderness Society from the Sky Island Alliance where he spent the last five years spearheading the campaign to protect the Tumacacori Highlands in southern Arizona. Mike brings extensive experience working with a variety of interest groups and garnering their support for protecting wildlands.

Mike's primary focus is on the emerging conservation campaign in Maricopa County where our coalition is seeking to protect important wildlands in the northern Sonoran Desert.

In addition to his strong conservation background Mike has quite an array of experiences including Top Secret security clearance with the State Department working in American embassies overseas, working as a development chemist, working in software development, and working for the Governor of Delaware.  He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and English literature (dual major) and a Master's degree in English literature from the University of Delaware.
