Moira Chapin joined The Wilderness Society in December 2010.  Before The WiIderness Society, Moira was a Class Giving Officer at the University of California, Berkeley, where she worked with volunteer leaders during their reunion years to raise major and annual gifts for the University.  Prior to Berkeley, Moira was a Field Organizer with Environment California, working on key conservation and major donor campaigns.

Additionally, Moira canvasses with the Fund for Public Interest Research, developing the membership base for Environment California, the Sierra Club, and other organizations, and worked with MoveOn.org Political Action during the 2004 and 2006 election cycles. Moira has lived in California for ten years and enjoys spending summer weekends hiking in the Sierra high country.
