Natalie has been with The Wilderness Society since July 2012. Originally working in the Conservation Department as an operation specialist, Natalie now applies her broad knowledge of our programs to our donor communications and stewardship efforts. She brings over eight years of programmatic, operational and development experience with nonprofits to her work at The Wilderness Society, and has helped connect local youth programs to our constituency building efforts.
Because she grew up in Los Angeles – motoring along the 405 in rush hour rather than wandering quiet trails – Natalie was a wilderness novice when she arrived at The Wilderness Society. When not catching up for lost time in the outdoors, Natalie volunteers with organizations that provide educational and artistic opportunities to youth.
Natalie earned her B.A. in English from University of California, Berkeley and her M.A. in English from Vanderbilt University, where she taught undergraduate courses in composition for four years.
