Torri joined The Wilderness Society as the Organizational Development Associate in January 2014. In this role, Torri facilitates employee engagement, team building and talent management initiatives across the organization. She also oversees the new hire on-boarding process.
Before joining TWS, Torri ran her own small consulting firm. As a former television journalist, she worked with a number of non-profit organizations to enhance organizational effectiveness. Her specialties include: organizational diagnosis, intervention, team building, leadership training, conflict management and transformational change. She is an accomplished Appreciative Inquiry Practitioner, conducting a number of summits that engage individuals and foster positive organizational change.
Torri holds a master’s degree in Organizational Development from Trinity Washington University. She received a bachelor’s degree from Howard University.
