Jane Taylor is the Vice President for Communications and Marketing at The Wilderness Society. She leads the organization’s communications, marketing and digital efforts, driving mission-focused strategies to strengthen our brand.

Previous to The Wilderness Society, Jane served as the senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the Washington Wizards, overseeing the communications, marketing, community relations and game operations departments. Jane worked at Marriott International for nearly twenty years, where she served in sales, marketing and brand management capacities for the Courtyard brand. She spent her last three years as Marriott’s vice president of brand strategy. Jane also served in marketing roles for the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority and CARFAX, leading advertising, media and promotional initiatives for both companies.

Jane holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Pennsylvania State University and has completed continuing education courses through The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Michigan. Jane is a member of the board of directors of the Washington Animal Rescue League. She resides in Silver Spring, MD.
