What the Kerry-Lieberman Climate Bill means for Wild Places

Senators Kerry (Mass.) and Lieberman (Conn.) released their long-awaited climate and energy bill today. The bill contains strong provisions for cutting the greenhouse gas pollution that threatens wild places, but also advocates more of the offshore drilling that has devastated the Gulf of Mexico and continues to threaten the walruses, whales, seals, and bears of the Arctic Ocean. Senate Introduces Climate Bill: Clean Energy Jobs Act Builds on House Momentum
