Colorado hiking trail #11. Indian Creek Loop [Difficult, Easily accessible]:
Located near Jarre Canyon just southwest of Highlands Ranch near Denver, this heavily forested trail is mainly used for mountain biking.
With winding trails that cross Strontia Springs Dam and take even the most advanced bikers on an intense climb from one strenuous, steep hill to the next, leading you to the Indian Creek campground; where you’ll want to stay after an all day ride.
Once through the forested parts and past the rugged trial ascensions, the valley opens to wide-range views of the Front Range, where you can relax and catch your breath after tackling the aggressive curves of the trail.
