A toast to bubbly Browns Canyon! New ale shows support for protection

The Ark Valley Libation Society knows the best way to have a good time in Colorado: hit the rapids in Browns Canyon.

That's why they've decided to join with the Friends of Browns Canyon to protect this magnificent area.

Their Browns Canyon India Style Brown Ale was released last week so others can join the party too. The group collaborated with local companies Elevation Beer Co., Amicas Pizza and Microbrewery, and Moonlight Pizza and Brew Pub to create a unique brew that blends the favorable characteristics of both pale and brown ales.

Browns Canyon is a magical mixture too, offering the marvels of whitewater rafting and fishing, as well as the stunning exploration of rocky caves and caverns. A portion of the ale's sales will benefit the Friends of Browns Canyon, who are working to protect these wild waters and lands.

And of course, The Wilderness Society is also eager to celebrate this special place. We are advocating for the designation of Browns Canyon as a new national monument with embedded wilderness.

Join us in making a toast to the awesome adventures this place offers by showing your support for Senator Udall's proposed bill.
