As summer enters its “Dog Days”, scientific evidence on the impacts of global warming continues to mount. Yet, even after a major win in the House of Representatives, the fight for clean energy and new American jobs faces an uphill battle in the Senate — where well-funded and powerful special interests are hard at work trying to keep us tied to a dirty past.

The TWS Climate Team recently released its latest “Global Warming by the State” reports to help push back against the campaign of fear and lies climate deniers are mounting.

Our latest batch of reports details how Florida, New Mexico, Montana, and Maine are already being affected by global warming — and what people living there can expect if we fail to cut carbon pollution now.

Don’t let this research go to waste! Use it.

Share these reports with your family and friends. Send them to colleagues. Blast them to your newspaper. Email them to your Senators. All the research in the world won’t do much good if we can’t pass a strong clean energy and jobs bill — and the only way that will happen is if you get involved…today.

The full list of Global Warming by the State reports includes the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, Utah, and Washington, all states where temperatures are expected to rise by at least 5° F by the year 2060.
