Safeguarding a Strong Economy and Healthy Communities: Protecting Our Natural Resources from Global Warming

The Wilderness Society has led a diverse coalition to ensure revenues from a cap-and-trade system go to protecting our natural resources from the effects of global warming. Recently, we produced a coalition factsheet that helps explains why natural resources matter, the risks global warming poses to these assets, and why it’s important to protect them.

Sam Goldman

He came most recently from M+R Strategic Services in Washington, DC where he worked with national environmental groups to improve their online campaign work and field organizing capacity. Before that, Sam was the Assistant National Field Director for U.S. PIRG where he covered a variety of issues including the fight to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
