Save These Incredible Places
February 5, 2009
Editor's Note: President Obama signed the Omnibus Public Land Management Act into law Monday, March 30, 2009.
Soon, the House of Representative will vote on a bill that would protect more then 2 million acres of wilderness in 9 states, as well as permanently establishing the Bureau of Land Management's National Landscape Conservation System. If passed, this bill would become the greatest expansion of the wilderness system in 15 years!
See some of the amazing landscapes affected by the bill in this video.
Together, we can preserve these lands for our future enjoyment, protect wildlife, and keep our air and water clean.
