TWS President lauds climate bill momentum

Writing for the National Journal’s energy and environment blog this week, Wilderness Society President Bill Meadows praised Senators Boxer and Kerry for their leadership in introducing the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act. Meadows expressed optimism that U.S. progress on comprehensive climate and energy legislation will help break an international stalemate over global warming when the world’s leaders meet in Copenhagen to negotiate a new climate treaty in December.

Sam Goldman

He came most recently from M+R Strategic Services in Washington, DC where he worked with national environmental groups to improve their online campaign work and field organizing capacity.
