Wilderness Society Comments on Long-Awaited Climate Reports

In the final days of the Bush Administration, a long-awaited series of climate reports were released by the Department of Interior’s Climate Change Taskforce. Those reports detailed the administration’s thoughts on how the Department of Interior should approach climate change. In response, The Wilderness Society submitted comments to the Department of Interior addressing a number of issues in the reports, for example, downplaying water scarcity issues in areas likely to see less water due to changing climates.
