Forests and the Adaptive Management Plan for the California Cap-and-Trade Regulation PDF

On October 10, 2011, the California Air Resources Board released a draft plan for managing any adverse impacts to forests which might occur as a result of forest offset projects associated with the California cap-and-trade rule.  The key elements of the plan include identifying relevant sources of forest data, analyzing the data to determine if an adverse impact is caused by the cap-and-trade program, identifying potential actions to remedy the impact, and a commitment by ARB to take action.
