Such activities changed the structure of the forests reducing their ecological integrity.

This brief provides a synthesis of how we might accomplish forest restoration monitoring in light of limited federal budgets, thereby allowing for adaptive strategies in the management of low elevation, dry forest ecosystems of the Northern Rocky Mountains.
