Allie is a seasoned environmental advocate with a background in conservation science and policy, and a B.A. in Environmental Science and Global Sustainability from the University of Virginia. She is well-versed in grassroots organizing and climate policy, from campaigning to successfully oppose the Atlantic Coast Pipeline, to testifying for Xcel Energy to pass more ambitious renewable energy targets in Colorado, to canvassing to turn out hundreds of Virginians to elect pro-conservation leaders. She is particularly passionate about climate justice, inspired in large part by several near-death experiences encountering climate change firsthand during a summer of monsoon flooding while backpacking in Nepal. She is based in Colorado, where she loves skiing, rafting, biking and camping in her free time.
