Mary serves as the Senior Government Relations Representative at The Wilderness Society.
Mary works with Congress and the Administration to advance policies that protect and improve the health of National Forest System lands and strengthen the important protections of the National Environmental Policy Act in order to achieve the goals of conserving 30% of U.S. lands and waters by 2030.
Mary is originally from Ohio and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environment Science. She also earned a Master’s in Environmental Law and Policy and a J.D. from Vermont Law School before moving to D.C., where she has worked in the Senate and in government relations, covering issues related to climate change, sustainable agriculture, and environmental regulations. Outside of work, you can find Mary hiking or biking around D.C.
