Ahad has been working within digital communications since 2016, and calls the DMV his home. His passion towards communication studies began as a speech consultant for fellow students, then starting a digital strategy internship with the Working Families party in 2016. Ahad led an award-winning program based on diversity, comfort, inclusion and equity for students of color, and joined New Virginia Majority as a digital organizer. He previously curated the social media channels for The Wilderness Society and moved on to leading TWS' community-led conservation and equitable benefits from public lands work digitally.

On an average day you can find Ahad making music and exploring the culinary world with his friends, googling where to get the best soup in the DMV.
