Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE: ETM), this week, began a nationwide $1 million public service announcement (PSA) campaign on behalf of The Wilderness Society. The PSA campaign, part of The Wilderness Society’s Wild Days of Summer, features Dave Matthews, Betty White and Wendie Malick, and it will run across all 111 of Entercom’s stations in 23 markets across the country.

As part of this campaign, Entercom will produce and broadcast public affairs programming featuring Wilderness Society President Jamie Williams. Topics will be specific to Entercom markets, including the Sierra Nevada area, in Sacramento and San Francisco; the Colorado Plateau, in Denver; and the Great Smoky Mountains, in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Greenville, South Carolina.
