Debbie is the General Counsel for The Wilderness Society and manages all of its corporate legal matters, including, among other things, contracts, federal and state reporting requirements, and intellectual property.
Laura is the Senior Philanthropy Officer for The Wilderness Society’s Southwest Region. An attorney by training and over 14 years of fundraising experience, Laura oversees major donors in the southwest of the United States.
Heather joined The Wilderness Society as the Constituency Building Associate leading the emerging Urban to Wild program’s efforts to connect urban communities to Wilderness and wilderness areas throughout the country.
Katy comes to TWS after nearly a decade on Capitol Hill, working for several House members. Most recently, she served as senior legislative assistant to Congressman Bruce Braley covering energy and environmental issues.
Duyen Tran is the Civic Engagement Specialist for the Los Angeles office. She coordinates the San Gabriel Mountains Forever Leadership Academy and conducts outreach and organizing for the San Gabriel Mountains Forever campaign.
Kirsten Stewart is the Executive Team Assistant, supporting President Jamie Williams in the President’s Office, as well as Vice President of Philanthropy Ame Hellman and Vice President of Marketing and Communications Kitty Thomas.
Nick Miner serves as the Land and Water Conservation Fund National Campaign Representative in the Washington D.C. office. Prior to joining TWS in 2015, he worked on Mayoral, Congressional, and Senatorial political campaigns across the country.
Katie Breen joined The Wilderness Society D.C. office in 2015 as an Energy and Climate Policy Fellow. Her work includes researching and contributing support to emerging policy that emphasizes the use of renewable energy while protecting the surrounding wild life.
