The week of May 17 the Energy and Commerce committee began debating the American Clean Energy and Security Act (H.R. 2454) — an historic energy and global warming bill that promises to put the country on a new path of energy security, clean economic development and environmental health. The Wilderness Society has worked with a diverse coalition of organizations to ensure that a portion of revenues generated through the bill would be dedicated to protecting our natural resources from the effects of global warming.
