Prior to joining The Wilderness Society he was the editor of Alaska magazine, where he managed the editorial operation and oversaw development of that publication’s digital edition and social media marketing efforts. He spent 15 years in the newspaper business as an editor and reporter at metro dailies in Arizona, New Mexico and Alaska.

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Arizona State University. Outside of work, Tim enjoys mountain biking year-round, as well as camping and snowshoeing on public lands near Anchorage.
