Zoie joined The Wilderness Society's Giving and Impact team in 2022 as a Roger Arliner Young Conservation Fellow. She now serves as a TWS Fellow.
She is a recent graduate of The College of Wooster, where she concentrated on Communication Studies and Psychology. Throughout her undergrad, she worked as a digital media consultant and led several student organizations and equity initiatives. Prior to joining TWS, she worked with the National Park Service, several public health organizations, and Detroit-based grassroots organizations.
Zoie is passionate about community organizing and creating healing spaces for marginalized communities. Her undergraduate thesis focused on environmental justice as a means to addressing racial health disparities; and she continues to explore how art and storytelling move us towards collective liberation. In her spare time, Zoie can be found reviewing restaurants, working on art projects, and relaxing in or near water.
