At Wilderness, our partnerships with other organizations are crucial to the success of our Yakima Basin work.

The combined energy and resources of government agencies, nonprofits and local community groups allow The Wilderness Society to accomplish much more in the Yakima Basin than we ever could on our own.

American Rivers

American Rivers works to protect and restore the nation’s rivers and streams. Recognizing that rivers are crucial for fish and wildlife, flood protection, clean water and recreation, American Rivers is ensuring that they are strengthened and secured.

National Wildlife Federation

The National Wildlife Federation is working to protect both wildlife and the ecosystems most important to them. They focus on safeguarding wildlife and people in a changing climate, reducing global warming and connecting people with nature.

Trout Unlimited

Trout Unlimited’s mission is “to conserve, protect and restore North America's cold water fisheries and their watersheds.” They hope to rebuild healthy watersheds and fish populations so that future generations may enjoy healthy fisheries in their home waters.
