Jenny works on The Wilderness Society’s Energy and Climate campaign as the Director of Advocacy. She focuses on developing outreach strategies and tactics to support priority energy and climate campaigns. Jenny brings together community leaders, recreationists, clean energy advocates and more to protect our climate, land and water from harmful energy development. 

She previously led the renewable energy campaign at The Wilderness Society and is a fellow with the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and part of the Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders (EWCL) program.

Jenny came to The Wilderness Society in 2013, after working for the National Wildlife Federation, leading and advancing national advocacy campaigns to reduce carbon pollution and protect public lands. Originally from rural southern Iowa, she graduated from Wartburg College with a B.A. in Biology and minors in Environmental Studies and Leadership.
