The Central Coast Heritage Protection Act will create approximately 35,000 acres of scenic areas, while conserving critical water resources for wildlife and nearby urban communities. The new legislation will also establish the 400-mile Condor National Recreation Trail and protect nearly 160 miles of wild and scenic rivers.
