The Wilderness Society has hired Teresa Lane as its vice president of philanthropy. She began work with the organization this week.

Teresa understands why Americans cherish our shared public lands, and she is an accomplished and well-known professional whose leadership will be central to our work ahead.”
Before joining The Wilderness Society, Lane served at the Nature Conservancy where she was senior principal gifts officer on their Worldwide Office Development Team. She held senior development positions at the Nature Conservancy for 11 years. Before that, Lane was assistant to the president for capital projects at Princeton University.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
